hi you,

I'm the tourist on the metro, lover of markets and dresses, a writer in the local coffee shop, and the friend who is always up for a picnic and conversation.

More recently, making the journey through loneliness to write a book.

Some dread day I suspect I’ll break down and buy face cream with serum, processed by osmosis with the smiles of a hundred, satin-skinned babies wrapped up in about $80, but today is not that day.

Today I spend $10 every 8 months or so.

It’s a simple hack I learned from my oldest sister:

Vitamin E oil.

Wild orange essential oil

Bam. Younger, glowy skin. I was recently asked if I was out of school yet, so it must be working. Each time I open a new bottle of oil I add a few drops of the orange oil and it makes it smells so incredible; it basically makes me happier just to smell it.

I use about 8-10 drops of the blend morning and evening on freshly cleansed skin. Simple as can be and your face will thank you. My sister is in her upper 30s, wearing no makeup, and look at her skin! (photo at the top) She now also supplements with a serum but at the time of the photo exclusively used this oil.

It isn’t fair to attribute good skin only to product, making it worth mentioning that the best skin starts inside: a good diet, exercise, and taking our thoughts captive (not allowing negative or ungrateful habits into our lives).

And after that, this luxurious oil.

P.S. Guys, buy something like an orange, pine, or woodsy scented oil, and this would work amazing to soothe a post-shave face. L.E.
